I have much more to say — My “director’s cut” video was over five mins and covered:
- economic disparity in my community that is representative of the what is happening across our state
- crisis we face including the medicaid deficit, public housing in disrepair, homelessness, overcrowded schools that are owed billions, climate change and a landmark state climate act that is law but unfunded, economic development that hurts working families, everyday New Yorkers, our communities, etc
- the impact of coronavirus on all of these crisis, on the people of Queens and all New Yorkers, and what we need to do/spend to make us healthy, safe, prosperous, whole.

It really does just come down to the two asks I make of our state lawmakers in the shorter cut of my video:
1/ Scrap the 2% austerity cap on our state budget
2/ Raise taxes on the ultra-wealthy including the 112 billionaires in NY state
